One of Britain's best-selling duos in the history of pop music, Wham!, is set to launch a world tour this July, says Andrew Ridgeley, the guitarist of the band.
"All the details aren't set yet, but it seems to me that Wham is back," Ridgeley said at a press conference yesterday.
Surprisingly, George Michael is not involved in the comeback.
"Well, George was always mostly just a songwriter, and since we have all the songs now, I don't really need him anymore. I think if I asked him about it, he'd agree with me, actually," Ridgeley said.
"But I'll be wearing the same clothes as in the 1980s, I promise," he added. "Relax," he said, laughing.
"Oops, wrong band."
